Review: OK Car rental zijn oplichters
"Go ahead, write the bad review like everyone else does."
Those were the famous last words of 1 of the employees that work at OK Rent a car after we walked out of the hangar.
I could write lots of stuff about this company, but I've wasted enough of my time (and money!) on these scammers. However, I want to warn future customers that are considering this "car rental company".
From the moment they knew we hadn't taken their insurance but the broker's one, they became all aggressive and unprofessional. 1 of the staff members started yelling and came from behind the desk all in our comfort zone. Very weird.
They also tried upselling us one of those e-toll devices for way too much money. After a quick google to see what the real rental price is, they discounted it. That was already the second big red flag.
Upon bringing back our vehicle, the lady that checked the car directly walked up to the bonnet and pointed out a 1 cm superficial scratch that can hardly be seen by the naked eye. She must have known that it was already there. Same with the back wheel's rim. It had this typical minor damage which you can have when you park next to a sidewalk. In the week we had the car, we only parked at a beach and an underground parking lot, impossible to have made that damage.
€260 extra charges. Judging be the other reviews I read about them, that's their business plan :) The staff that is employed there works of a commission.
TLDR; don't rent a car here, unless you want to get scammed and to feel unsafe.
